Install the desktop app

The desktop app delivers the complete autonomous IDE experience: a real embedded terminal, bundled language intelligence, local high-speed GPU acceleration (240+ tokens/sec on an 8GB GPU), and 100% offline privacy with zero cloud telemetry.

The download page always provides the latest production release for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)

Download OIOXO-Setup-<version>.exe and run the installer. Seamless background updates keep your IDE up to date with the latest performance and model optimizations.

macOS

Apple Silicon: OIOXO-<version>-mac-arm64.dmg. Intel: OIOXO-<version>-mac-x64.dmg. Open the disk image and drag OIOXO into Applications. Official verified build for macOS.

Linux

Available for 64-bit Linux. The web tier at oioxo.com in Chrome or Firefox also delivers the full product directly in your browser.

After install

  • The app checks for updates at launch and installs the next version seamlessly on quit.
  • Sign in (optional) from the Account seat: it opens your browser and hands the app a device token, so Pro works on this machine too. Everything else stays on this device.
  • Terminal (Ctrl+`) is a real shell in the project folder; Autopilot uses it to run test suites and verify exit code 0.
  • Dedicated hardware graphics enable instant 240+ tokens/second local acceleration. Systems without a dedicated GPU run smoothly on standard CPU at 24 tokens/second.
