OIOXO on your phone
OIOXO on iPhone and Android is the full build experience in your pocket. Describe an app, watch it come together, and preview it — with a model that runs right on your phone, so your work stays private even on the go.
Using OIOXO on your phone
OIOXO runs in your phone’s browser today — open oioxo.com in Safari (iPhone/iPad) or Chrome (Android) and add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. The full build → run → preview flow works, with the model running right on your device.
Native App Store and Google Play apps are on the way. Sign in with your OIOXO account (or create one in seconds) and your plan and projects are immediately there.
Building on your phone
- Describe it. Tap the prompt box, type what you want, and send. OIOXO plans, writes, runs, and verifies — narrating each step.
- Watch it run. The live preview fills the screen so you can see your app immediately.
- Steer as it builds. Add a follow-up at any time to redirect — “make the header smaller,” “add a dark mode.”
- Use the controls. A clear Send and Stop are always within thumb’s reach.
What makes the phone app special
- A private model on your device. The app runs a model locally and uses your phone’s hardware to accelerate it where supported — your prompts and code don’t need a server.
- Read-aloud. OIOXO can speak its replies in your language, hands-free.
- One tap to your bigger devices. Anything you start on your phone is in your account, ready to continue on the web or desktop.
- Borrow a bigger device’s power. On the same Wi-Fi, Add a device — scan the code from your desktop and your phone builds using its power, while your work stays on your phone.
The first build downloads your model once; after that, it works without a connection. Bigger phones run a bigger model — OIOXO matches the model to your phone automatically, with nothing to set up.
Bring your own key on mobile
Prefer a top-end model for a heavy task? Add your own API key in Settings and OIOXO will use it — your key stays on your phone. See Bring your own key.
Tips
- Keep prompts focused. A clear, specific request builds fastest on a phone-sized model.
- Use follow-ups. Build in small steps and steer — it’s faster than one giant prompt.
- Switch to a bigger device for large projects. Your project is already in your account.
